I know you posted not to comment, but you posted the pic
So, you must work to keep the heat down, and fire at a very slow rate.  I can smell that cord burning on my can, if I close my eyes.

@prodigy808 Humor me for a moment...Would a 13.7 inch barrel (carbine gas system) allow the AEM5 to clear the medium FF RAS? I understand I'd have to have it custom machined for the collar.  I really want to do a 13.7 inch recce style upper.

Just from the numbers KAC has listed on length of 10-3/8” it should work. You need approx. 2.4” from barrel shoulder to rear of suppressor as seen in attached pic. If my numbers are right, 13.7-2.4=11.3” which is > than 10-3/8”. Still leaves wiggle room and you could get it to where the aem5 sits almost flush with medium ras with proper barrel contouring and custom AE collar if needed. Would definitely need to go sbr route as it wouldn’t hit 16” oal even with pin/weld brake but I’m sure you are aware of it.

That is a very informative pic/post. Thank you so much! I'm good for the SBR lower. I plan to SBR everything when I get it because I always seem to go that route

Shot the first target after mounting and sighting in the NX8. It's important to note this is a single stage mil spec trigger that comes with the Daniel Defense LPK. Ammo was Black Hills 77gr. Keep in mind this is a chrome lined MRP barrel. 15 rounds were fired using only a bipod, no sand bag and the gun wasn't in a sled or anything like that. Distance was 100 yards.

That's some nice shooting and a nice gun. How is the nx8 reticle?  I heard that dot is a little big for long distances.

Thank you sir, it didn't bother me at all but I only went to 100 yards so far.

Awesome setup.

I wonder why Geissele doesn't make 1.93/2.04" 34mm mounts.
