A friend of mine just bought a Sig M400 TREAD, and saw the Pelican 1700 with the custom TREAD foam. Is this case available anywhere, or was it a special done by Sig? Search couldn't turn up anything. Thanks!

I imagine it was done by Sig. It's a simple thing for a company like that to do. Whether or not they sell their inserts, I don't know. I wouldn't imagine they would bother, but ya never know.
