Fail to eject issues can be attributed to many things like bad ejector system, friction, lack of gas pressure, ammunition, etc.
Any chance you could provide any details or information on the rifle, things like front sight base or gas block, would help? If it is a gas block, and it is screwed into place, make it hasn't come loose and slipped forward of off to the side where it is out of alignment with the gas port on the barrel.
Check to make sure the gas key (Bolt carrier key) is securely screwed down, and is properly staked, as when we teach Armorer Courses we see lots of bolt carriers that have no staking or are barely staked.
What type of ammunition were you using?
Being a new rifle, I would highly suggest that you give it a thorough cleaning, which includes using a chamber brush and good solvent, then swab out the chamber with a little denatured alcohol, as this will help eliminate any packing oils/grease in the chamber that might cause issues. Then lubricate the bolt carrier rails, and soak the 7 bolt lugs on the bolt with a good lubricant like Slip2000 "EWL" Extreme Weapons Lube, as this will help eliminate that it's not a friction issue.
