Anyone have any thoughts on what a current fair market value might be on a stripped tano MARS-L? No parts other than the original proprietary parts from the factory. I have a complete listed in the EE but I'm thinking of pulling off the parts and letting it go as just a stripped version.

Not sure what you’re asking for the complete lower, but a buddy of mine just picked up a NOS LMT tano lower for the same as I paid for mine… I’m sure there’s a premium, but think it market influenced on the 2nd hand market more than anything.  I’d say $375ish + whatever premium you want to put on it since they are getting harder to find

It’s actually a Reptilia AUS.

I prefer it to the few COMM mounts I’ve owned, but that’s more so personal preference than anything else.

As much as I hated to pony up the $$$ for the Tano RMR, in the end I'm glad I did.

After many changes over the months, I have finally settled on this as a complete project... sort of. I still need an anodized buffer tube since this one is Cerakote finished. Final addition was the Geissele 11.5 inch barrel and the MK8 handguard.

Geissele 11.5 by James H., on Flickr

For the 14.5 I added the Badger Condition One Mount in 1.70 and I have to say that this a really cool mount. The height is perfect for rapid shots on 1x and still comfortable for longer shots at 6x.

I just found this, Matrix Arms Tano reviver set.

I stumbled on this while looking for FDE Aluminum Glock parts. They also sell aluminum G19 frames in gold. I sent them an email to ask what finish they use (cerakote, anodizing, etc.). This could be a whole new rabbit hole to go down…

Dang that’s cheap. Not that I need another project but why not.

And Hyve makes tano extended baseplates for a bunch of pistols. I like the ones I have for my M&P but I’d say they’re true tano versus FDE. +3 if I remember right with thousands of rounds without issue.

They're a great value WML, that gun deserves it. Function, and fashion!

I had self control today. Being the good husband  / responsible homeowner, I sold this to help defray the cost of a new refrigerator..

That sucked! Oh well, the new fridge is a nice one anyway..

Fellow addicts,

I’ve been hunting these for a while and wanted to share with the only people who’ll likely be as excited as I am.
The color is great, and they feel pretty solid.  I’m sure I’ll buy the folding ScalarWorks sights in clear ano if that ever happens, but for now I’m thrilled.

Rebuilt my 11.5 with a Geissele receiver set and lower parts/ buffer kit. Really like the color of these with the cmt dirt rail.  Also picked up a blemula lower when they were on Easter sale. Just need to decide what to built with it now.

Blemula came in boiiis!!! Though, while i was waiting on the dang background check to come through i ended up putting money down on a sexy ass 6520, so finishing up the tano build is going to wait.

Idk if i wanna go 100% geissele fan boy with a super mount in ddc or get one of the Nightforce mounts that are tano.

Pic of sexy ass 6520

Also, the razor is not torqued / mounted any way , its just setting there.

I'm Tano tapped out. There were some decent deals to be had, but truthfully I only need a black G ACH for my 8" build. I've got a DDC version if anyone is interested in a trade.

After spending boo-koo $$$ on house stuff lately, I'm in "replenish the coffer" mode.

I’m a sucker for a Geissele holiday sale… grabbed a DDC buffer tube and H3/spring combo I “needed”.

I also had a Kodiak Brown M5 receiver set in my cart all weekend over at Aero Precision, but was able to muster enough self control to not buy them.
