ETA: Its already up there, but I got it figured out. Never thought I'd buy a can that's dedicated to a single rifle, but obviously, after my first NFA approvals, it just had to be done. Gonna be rattle canned to match my Mod 1 a few pages back, so it won't be black for long. For the sake of the thread:

All my other muzzles have been masked off before painting though. No issues, I just find it a cleaner process. |

Don't really wanna clog a clone thread up asking around(not that there aren't enough tangent conversations in the clone threads as it is  ) but at the same time the UTHTF doesn't get a lot of traffic....... The only other member I can think of at the moment, that may be interested based on pictures he posts is Tactical Coyote, though I don't know him personally. Just a conjecture.
I may need help sometime in the near future moving into my apartment, so if anyone would take (as payment for help moving) test driving my AEM5 or other guns and some of my ammo and a few beers, we may could work out a business transaction

Seem in the wild, no. However logically if another suppressor was going to be used that would be it.
Maybe that would make it cross the line from a Holland into being a Recce but I would bet if we could get a picture of every weapon in use over the past 14 years I would bet we would see at least one like that, as well as other things that would probably make some cloners on here stroke out. Considering the overwhelming number of CAA and UTG equipped rigs i saw overseas, i wouldn't consider it a stretch to assume there was an NT4 equipped mk12 at some point. Maybe bubba wrecked his 12th can and the armorer was short on replacements but had a surplus of nt4 cans. Who knows. Have i personally seen it? Newp. Would i discount it simply because a thread on a forum said so? Not at all.

I personally have over 10,000 rounds through the one on my work gun, alot of which is on full auto (why you ask, because I can...), and my work can sounds as good if not better than my personal 12th models (I have 2 of my own). The Nt4 is not anywhere near as quiet, and, while would work if need be, there is just no good reason I could see to put one on a MK12 |

Either for weight savings or compatibility or something. We've now seen mention of the Mod H being unknown to newer generations of cool dudes in said unit, and a guy on M4c described the Holland but didn't know what it was called till I inspired him to google it. It stands to reason that at some point, maybe not now, but maybe there will come a point where someone dusts off a Mod H that was collecting dust in the arms room and has the armorer throw a Surefire on it. Weight is 17oz on Surefire vs 21 on AEM5 for example, plus weight differences between flash hider for SF vs Ops brake/collar. |

The Nt4 is not anywhere near as quiet, and, while would work if need be, there is just no good reason I could see to put one on a MK12 Awesome to hear. I shudder to think of what will happen to all of those Ops cans when all of the Hollands and Mod 1s are redlined They get chopped up into little bits and pieces DRMO shredders can be very good at creating scrap where there once was none.... |
