I haven't poked around here in a while. Back around 2013 I had an Alan Brown built mod 1. I am starting to get itchy and bothered so I'll need to scratch soon. I want to go with a Mod 0 this time. I have an Aero M16a4 lower built up with Schmidt parts I could use or... Whatever was the verdict on the PSA Mk12s if any? Worthy or not? Getting my flame suit put on! Lol |

Pardon my question why does this rear sight seem like it’s way too low to use with the front sight because of the scope riser? @tw56 |

Unless you're going for volley fire.  It was likely put there to keep from losing it when the riser was added. |

| Question for those who fielded the Mk12 in theater. Do you recall how much "slop" there was with the fit between the upper and lower receiver? If any? And I suppose a follow up question; how much movement was acceptable before the receiver was rejected and no longer fit for service. Thanks. |

While I never carried a Mk12, I was issued an M16a1 (Hydra-Matic) in basic in 1981, probably a VN return. Although having a gray'ish receiver, I don't recall any real slop. I also picked up one of those Numrich surplus A1 stocks for my Mk12 Mod. "HO" build. Mine has some fine scratches, as you would expect, and some mottling and a label-maker made rack number.
