Digging through my Uncle's safe and came across what looks like a pre ban Bushmaster Dissy
SN# is below 30k Couldn't find any on GB Any idea of what it's worth or may sell for? |
|
|
Asking for a friend. I completely forgot to write down the SN, but he said it is a late-70s SP1 rifle with all accessories (no scope) NIB. I have not looked at retro pricing in a while, so I said I would ask here for him. Has the latest style A1 stock and a thin pistol grip. Looks like it barely even been handled. I did not cycle the action because it looked so dry. Looking up the magwell, the BCG has a non-shrouded firing pin. If you guys could ballpark me for it, I'll pass along the info. Thanks!

I picked this up back in 82’-86’? Not quite sure, it was actually my first AR even though it was 9mm.
Can anyone put a $ amount of what current market value may be? ETA: less than 1k rounds through it. It’s in excellent condition. Thanks, M Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File |

Slab side lower, no gas deflector and a preban. I'm thinking 1500-2000.
ETA If you have the Colt 20rd magazines for it they are high dollar also. |

M11 small arms racks. Came from DRMO. Can't find good info either as these are welded back to back.

Don’t know where else to ask but bought this mag for cheap and curious what it is worth. Apparently is a Daewoo ‘tampon’ style mag where it’s designed to pull a cord down to pull the follower, take the back off and load it throw the back. There is only 1 reference on Gunbroker several years ago but no pics of price.
It’s the middle mag in question next to a standard 20 and a armalite 25 round. Attached File Attached File Attached File |

Dug these out, Armalite AR18 mags. Some are black some have a purple/black finish. Any idea what they may be worrh?

Also, why 240,000’th, why not 250,000’th, or 238,456’th for that matter? What was special about 240,000? Does the full auto paperwork show GM as the manufacturer, or someone else? |

From the googling I've done I found this about it's history:
Apparently it was the "last" rifle to come off the assembly line at the Hyrda-Matic plant in Ypsilanti. GM had fulfilled the contract of 240,000 rifles (but apparently were later awarded another contract a couple years later for a bunch more). The 240,000th was ceremoniously presented to the US Army Weapons Command by the general manager at the Hydra-Matic plant. I think I remember reading somewhere that it was later re-gifted back to him or somebody else at GM. Now our agency has it. How we got it, I have no idea. Maybe it was turned in or forfeited, but for all I know, maybe it is on paper and just being loaned to us for display. I'm curious though if it were transferable, what the value to a collector might be considering the history. Looking for a ballpark appraisal. Colt 656 clone. Original M16A1 Colt components used except for reproduction upper, front sight base and scope mount, new HBAR .556 NATO 1x9 barrel and lower receiver reprofiled and engraved from an 80% lower. Original Leatherwood ART II scope and mounting rings. Given that the new production M16A1's are listed around $2500, and the Leatherwood ART II scopes and mounts are selling for $1500 - $2000, I am thinking that the appraisal would be around $5000 - $6000, especially considering the uniqueness of the upper receiver and front sight base. Would be interested to hear from those more knowledgeable about retro rifle prices.
Thanks. Attached File Attached File |

Anyone know what vintage this is or about what it's worth? It's an interesting grey color.

Could been a refurbished gun but then I’d expect the upper to be black. So my guess is that it was put together by a a civ from parts. That upper is nice, round forge and colt proof marks. The upper would date from 1966 to 1971 approximately. I don’t know much about SAK barrels so I can’t help there. |

Would someone please mind helping me place a value on these items? A friends neighbor passed away and he is helping her sell some of her husbands old stuff. Neither of us know a fair price for me to pay her. The stock is bare and missing everything. He believes them to be original A1 parts. Also possible value on an a2 stock in similar condition (missing everything), and a set of a2 handguards? Both in similar condition as photos above of the a1 stuff. Can the missing parts be sourced for the stocks? Thanks in advance. |

Wondering what the value is on a 1981 Colt SP1 Carbine in excellent condition? I have the chance to acquire a SP1 Carbine serial # SP141229 (1981) from the original owner who purchased it NIB back in 1981. Probably has about 500 rds down the tube but no original paperwork or box.
