Besides for being black, they look decent from the pictures. They don't have the NDS forge code, did these guys get their own forgings made?

Black Rifle Depots M16A1 Upper Receiver matches the original design and is perfect for that retro reproduction M16 build. Manufactured right here in the USA from 7075-T6 forged aluminum and are type 3 hard coat anodized to match most AR 15 receivers finish.

M4 ramps means it's not truly authentic, and will require a ramped carbine barrel extension. That's a bad thing to have if trying to use a period-correct rifle barrel with an unramped rifle barrel extension.

The BBB was outed as a "pay to play" sham almost 10 years ago. Any company's BBB rating is suspect.
Terror Group Gets 'A' Rating From Better Business Bureau?

That said, using Brownells' photos and Photoshopping out the NDS marking is shady AF.

This. The BBB is a joke, but that doesn't mean that this company isn't shady.
