I've been talking about them for awhile, and they are finally here and in stock. I got to look through a couple of examples and the reticles are beautifully executed.

THe 1x-8 FFP Platinum is what I'm after but you'd think around the largest buying/selling days of the year you'd see it on sale somewhere. Just MSRP. Too bad, it is a nice scope. Once the big ooooo ahhhhh factor is over and the first get their pick and they end up with some on shelves, it will eventually go on sale.

They can't build them fast enough for us to keep them in stock all the time as it is, so there isn't much incentive to lower the price, when they are already competing with other brands wanting $1500+ for a scope with similar specifications. The best way to get any kind of deal on these is to watch Optics Planet and hope they run a blanket coupon code that applies to everything on the site, and zap 'em with that. Happens maybe once or twice a year. |

This scope come with the flip up caps? I see some pictures on the raptor rectile where there are no flip up caps.

I’ve been running the PA Platinum 1-8 competitively for 18 months and have been nothing if not impressed. The new reticle looks like a winner for wind holds... Probably be picking one up in the not so distant future.

I run the old school 1-8X Platinum ACSS reticle on a .308 AR. Works well and not looking to swap it.
The Raptor M2 or Griffin MOA has my interests for another upper. |
