Function test seems fine. No binding of the bolt carrier. Colt upper and lower 223 cal 5.7 oz sliding buffer (Odin adjustable) 2 position regulator with supplied disconnector Load magazine with five rounds and pull trigger. First two to three rounds fire but next round just chambers with hammer down. Slight dent on primer. |

The Odin Heavy buffer is steel construction which has a poor sliding v. total weight profile. You want a buffer where the sliding weight is the majority of the total weight. I suggest: Tromix H3 or Aluminum bodied buffer with tungsten sliding internal weights. |

| Ditch that Odin buffer, use a standard H3. Odins are known to not work with FRTs, I do not know why because I don't own one, but a huge number of people on this sub forum have talked about them causing failures for them. I have never read about an Odin working with an FRT. |

Thanks for the advice. The problem is bigger than I thought. It turns out that the bolt carrier is binding when I squeeze the trigger and retract the bolt carrier. It's intermittent and that's why I thought I fixed it. And this is without the Arizona Regulator installed! It may be related to my large pivot pin Colt lower and small pivot pin Colt upper. I need to investigate further. |
