If only they made it with a full rim.

That's the biggest complaint from people that own, shoot, and load for 22 Nosler.
The rebated rim brass at rifle pressures wreaks havoc on brass.
Many years ago, I asked Bill Alexander why he didn't do rebated rim on Grendel, since he had a lot of experience with the rebated rim on .50 Beowulf.
Brass crumpling at the web and brass life were issues, and it really didn't help out with bolt thrust because of the focus of the thrust on a smaller area, but still with the same case body diameter and pressure exerting rearward.
Field is still wide open for someone to make a factory 6mm Grendel.
For standard AR15 chambers, 6.5 Grendel with 130gr Nosler RDF is the cartridge to beat for wind drift, supersonic reach, and retained energy. .224 Valkyrie has the same wind drift at 1000 using the new 90gr SMK, but has less supersonic reach at 1200yds, but also less drop and recoil for sure. Wind drift is the same for both.
For wildcats, 6mm AR Turbo is the one to beat for wind drift (2.2 mils with 107gr SMK). It beats the 6.5 Grendel/130gr Nosler RDF at 1000yds for drift (2.3 mils).
