I got a upper coming in I need to know if a DF will fit on right side next to kac micro's right just under muzzle? I have a mlock arisaka in line and off set to try.  I got Geissele buis incoming but going to stick to kac micro's instead.

I usually run a arisaka body and have no problems and might go with the 1000 lumen m600 but figured mine as well get the dual fuel.

Might grab a mod light set up but like the cr123 option so that's down the road.

Any advice would help but I know the DF is a little fatter but like it right to rail next to irons just under muzzle (kac mams in this case)

Thanks

The offset will work with even the HLX (which is larger than M600DF or Modlite heads) and with MBUS plastics which are the bulkiest BUIS if you put the head just past the sight sight body and light body next to the BUIS. The only thing I use inlines for is Arisaka head M300/600 lights that are very slim and can even fit the whole head past the MBUS for battery swaps. Never tried a bigger head like an HLX, 600DF, or Modlite with lower profile sights but HLX and Modlite crash into sights and rail on an MCMR with inline mount. For those bigger heads I ALWAYS go Arisaka offset due to the 3 position options. By offset I assume you mean the 45 degree bend MLOK version and not the straight lift/drop intended for use under a DBAL correct? That is too low and wide for optimal weak side thumb operation when run lifting the light on weakside, but fits with a ton of room to spare (really intended for pressure switch from that location IMO).

Thanks I usually use inline (it has 3 positions as well) but yeah the offset is the one your talking about. I'm using a pressure switch and the kac micro should work based on what you said.

Thanks I appreciate the response.
