Here's a couple pics of my retro I've been working on for a few years. The lower is an 80 that I've machined quite a bit. The upper is Nodak-Brownell's. The barrel is a 1-12 proto from Brownells with (I think) a Braceman FSB.
Faux bakelite furniture, parkerized 25rd mag. Bipod lug I fashioned myself. The finish is Duracoat "Durapark" dark gray.   |

    Here's mine, currently wearing dark brown furniture, as the mottled is on my retro AR10B. I would like to have this set done up all mottled as well though... Anyone want to help? Regardless, it's such a light and handy carbine. My son loves it. Plus, soft shooting and accurate. |

Did you do the welding yourself?
I need to get my bayonet mount welded, and the slip ring anodized, and would love to get a selector made up to work with the original selector arrangement, but have not really looked for anyone after hearing JT doesn't have time for custom work anymore.
