I currently have an ATI Alpha 15 and I'm trying to change the handguard from the Rail/MLoc that came with it to a Free floating Quad rail that I purchased from Monstrum Tactical. The problem that I'm having is the threads on the Upper Receiver are 1.241" in Diameter and the I.D. of the barrel nut for the Quad rail is 1.375" in Diameter. Do I need to get an adapter or a Bushnell barrel nut to make this work?

It sounds as if your Monstrum handguard/nut are for AR10 guns.
