The spare BCG and upper were nice touches. That's what a new C barr3l would've costed me after taxes and shipping anyway. Hopefully by this time next week I'll have this thing built. |

So what gas port size do you guys favor for a 10.5" ? IIRC the original Crane 10.3s were ,072 but LMT used .080? I'm an old guy and my memory fails me at times, but those numbers stick in my head. I have a 10.5" barrel and just want to check the gas port size to see where it's at. Frankly I've always favored the 11.5" because of dwell time, but I want this thing to run but not beat itself to death. Thanks.

Finally dove in and chasing down an RC2 now. Last piece of the puzzle for me. Of course now that I've finally decided, good luck finding one in stock. Nice to see overall wait times low though.

If I buy a 10.3 barrel that has the MK12 dimples already on it ,can I put a FSB on it for a MOD 0 or can I only make it a MOD 1? Might be a dumb question. But here we are. lol.

But you could go the route if wanted Eta- it's easier to dimple a fsb barrel then to ream tapered holes on a non fsb barrel |

Longtime lurker of this forum for many years. Here’s my submission. Colt upper and lower. Comp M4s, LA5, inforce Haley strategic light (typically run a surefire). I’m actually running the old Surefire 212 can on this one but I have an NT4 and RC. My NT4 has terrible POI shift.

For anyone that has an NT4, when looking down the baffles…does yours look like it has a ‘V’ baffle?? I’ve always noticed it with my NT4 but maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me.
I feel like I notice some right angles or straight lines. Maybe it’s carbon build up… Anyone else? Attached File Attached File Attached File |
