Ok folks I need your "expert" advice here. I signed up for one of those Tactical Games and am wanting to run my Mod0. My current setup is with a standard A2 flash hider but I am wanting to run my RC. I am wanting to keep this thing as "correct" as I can so here's my question... Was the RC ever used on Mod0's and if so what mount was used(4 prong/3 prong/closed tine/warcomp)?

months in the making but i finally got some engraved items back. took forever to find someone to do SU-231A markings. I got the EZCad files so these are the same as Carolina Laser used to do. exps for the mk18 of course. but now i have a dilemma - exps or 553? love the classic look of 553 but exps now looks proper, without hood logo and with correct lasering lower is for something else that is short and sweet

| So I had to remove optics from both my Colt MK18 and factory DDmk18. Now I feel like changing things up without getting raked over the coals. Ive got a Vortex Razor 1-6 in an ADM mount which is prob going atop my daniel defense. Now my Colt MK18 previously had an Eotech G33 with XPS2. I know its not a clone correct choice but it worked well. Ive also got a NEW LOGO Tan EXps3 sitting in the safe and a couple of Micro T1's. Id like to keep the G33 mounted so I guess what do you think is best with the G33? The xps2, T1 (currently in an scalarwork and ADM with a spare LRP mount in the safe) or new logo EXPS3? |

One of the oldest CQBR pics I recall is from following the attempted assassination of Karzai in 2002? Still shows a 10.3" and an early Crane SCW buttstock (pre-LMT contract). Crane and whoever were in charge of making various manuals and publications did some funky shit. The draft Mk12 Mod 0/1 manual is a perfect example as the "Mod 0" in there was a mixmaster of old and new parts. |

https://i.imgur.com/iwY6EUF.jpg Speaking of no logo, I was just looking at how much the logo on my EXPS has worn. Hadn't really noticed because it happened so gradually, but at this rate, I'll eventually have a no logo EXPS and I won't even need to get my hood Cerakoted ;p.
