If I could get a deal on a 212 then I'd pick it up. If I could get a deal on an RC2, I'd pick it up. Also you have to think about which flash hiders you have already or how many you have to buy. IMO, you'll find RC2 capable hiders easier then the 212. Good(ish) depending on condition. Is it FA? round count? How fast do you want it? All factors. I picked up a used one for $115. It was older and just what I wanted. I'd say range is $110 to $150 with all the above factors playing a role... View Quote |

All,
Many of the original photos in this thread are no longer accessible. I would like to see some closeup images of the left and right side of the lower receivers of actual Mk 18, Mod 0, Block 1, and Block 2. I can find good images of the Mod 0, but the others are more challenging. Also, are there vendors that you have used to clone the lowers? Thanks! |

@Combat_Diver,
Thanks for the pics! Some questions: Is the Crane Mk18 Mod 0 right side stencil found on both the M16A1 and M4A1 lowers or just the M16A1? Is there any correlation between the Cage code or part number to any of Mod 0, Block 1 or Block 2? Thanks ! |

All Mk18 Mod 1s that I've seen the SEALs have, had the M4A1 crossed out and NAVY 18-1 engraved below. Again these are Navy BLK II receivers. The Army still counts the gun as a M4A1 URG. Where 14.5" and 10.3" receivers are the same. MARSOC refers a BLK II as RIS when I was talking to their weapons sergeants last week. Attached File Attached File Not following your second question. Cage Code markings are just now being seen on guns. CD |
