I get about 2715 from a 16" 1:7.7 Bartlein, but it may be a fast barrel.

The Numbers from that other post got my spot on with the ballistic calculator and I was ringing steel at 500 yards with ease

Glad to hear it. I get 2612 at 71 degrees with my 18" LaRue Barrel.

2600 area seems a little slow for 556 spec. Or am I spoiled by the crazy hot IMI Razorcore?
I have not tried the new green box CBC, only the older yellow box from 2-3years ago. But that older CBC was excellent ammo, more accurate than IMI and almost as fast. Can anyone compare the "old" and "new" CBC 77gr? |

The CBC was still some of the hotter 5.56 77gr SMK in my tests.... beating most everything else. |
