How much work did you have to do on the rail scales to get them to fit on the 3 and 9 o'clock sides? Only reducing screw length or also nut? |

View Quote Oh ya I meant at 6 o’clock for the rubber panel. I used a dremel on the screws that was it. Ground them down until they were flush with the nut after torquing them down. I pull the rubber panel off and the barrel can come out. |

Anyone have experience using a bootleg adjustable carrier in a MRP?
I have no complaints with my MRPs, just feel like tinkering. |

Wondering if anyone might have a LMT MRP Schematic, specifically one that shows the MARS-L lower.
Which would include the notched bolt catch? VS. the LMT LPK kit pictures from the distributors that only show the mil spec (flat) bolt catch . I ask due the need of said notched bolt catch , after losing one in a build fiasco.. I can identify many parts from the provided pictures online, but would love to see a full MARS-L schematic or parts list. I'll hit up a few of the good LMT partners, just wondering if there is one floating around to share. Thanks in advance and pics to follow the build! |

I think the best I've gotten was with my 11.5" chrome lined at 1.5" with mk262 Plenty good though |

Got a single 0.8” with PPU m193. All 5 round groups. Not really standard. I’m happy with something around 2” with m193. Rarely shoot anything different Attached File Attached File |

Not sure this is off topic...
Has anyone sent out a MWS 16" barrel to be re-profiled? I'm just wondering how much weight can be trimmed off it. I've got a 20" 6.5cm barrel and a 16" 308 barrel. No reason not to make the 308 as light as possible since the 6.5 would be the heavy setup. |

When's the release for the 12" barrel mid gas DI mrp upper?
|
|

[#32]
It looks like they released the upper for the 12.5's with no bcg, or barrel for 939 and no barrels even on the site.

Same, same, even have an already SBR’d MARS lower waiting for it, but I did score a MRP-H MLOK 15.5 for the 20” 6.5CM. And when are they going to release the cup-the-balls looking rail for the 12” piston? |

Anyway, while I had someone we all know on the phone correcting my mistake, I asked about spec war barrels and chassis' and the 12.5" barrels are still in production and chassis' will be trickling in. The spec war uppers put on the site friday were evidently leftovers for a run they made specifically for a contract run. At least it sounds like they will be permanent items in production when they get caught up on all their other products. ETA: Our man also said the 12.5" barrel has the same gas length and gas port as their 16" barrel. |
