Just wondering what companies manufactured the government issued M9 Bayonets, and where can I buy one?

Thanks in advance..

Lan-Cay, Phrobis and Ontario are the only military contract ones I know of but there are tons of copies out there too.

Not sure if they were issued but Buck definitely made some civilian editions.

OP, there are a few different versions issued to the troops.. biggest difference is in the grip material/color

For either a 20" A4 or 14.5" M4, what are the current issue bayonet(s)?

OKC-3S for the Usmc
M9 for the Army

I thought Buck originally made the M9 with Phrobis, then after the first batch or so they had a falling out.

Tri-Technologies was also contracted for a few thousand but I think they all got surplussed. Unsure if any were ever issued.

Lan-Cay I just picked up off eBay for my A4 build.  My issue weapon from 88-92 was an A2 with M9 bayonet, but I can't remember who the maker was.

I did a little web surfing and like the looks of a Marine OKC-3S.

Hard to find one for a reasonable price.

I got lucky and found some online that had been surplused for $85 about two years ago.  Still dirty and with armory inventory markings.

There have been a lot of these Tri-Technologies M9's in new unopened condition.

The Army doesn't actually issue bayonets anymore, nor train with them.  They are stored for accountability purposes in boxes that are taped shut.

Thus my shops were armed w/ M7 bayonets, b/c they were cheap @ Sarco.
