I have not used them, but ADCO has a pretty good reputation around these parts.

Does anyone have 556RC Surefire 4 prong they would be willing to part with?

It's the last clone correct item I need to complete my first Block II clone. Thanks.

Ive used ADCO twice for barrel cut and threads.  They are a site sponsor and have a section on here under INDUSTRY.  I try and support the site sponsors when I can.

Basically but in all seriousness the high mounted optic has so much more advantage other than running with nods.

I know the brake isn't 100% kosher, but I plan to run this in the local 2-gun match eventually.  Ran this again today on the clock on my own and definitely on par with the Vortex.

If I’m not mistaken he got kicked from being a industry partner here for not sending barrels he was supposed to to members and doing shady shit.

If that is him, do not fo, and use John Thomas or ADCO

@Aimless was that him? Don’t want to leave it up if it’s the wrong guy

I’m not sure “that kid” is male.  A lot of uniform sizes are just wrong on some females.

Since we're talking about him, I've used AR15 barrels for about a 10 barrel jobs over the last 4 years, shorten, thread, pin, weld, FSB taper pin attach, piston gas-block pin, etc.  5.56, 9mm, and 7.62x39.  Be advised, he has a huge backlog, so his turn around time varies, from about 8 weeks to about 15 weeks.  for simple questions, I've emailed him with queries if he can do a particular job, current back log, etc, usually responds within a day.  I haven't had the need to email him for billing issues, so can't gage response time on that type of email.  I haven't been ripped off by him.  otherwise I wouldn't be a repeat customer.  on almost all of my work projects that he's done for me, his work has been outstanding.  the last 2 he did for me were a little more involved than just simple shorten-thread-pin-weld, and I think he was in a rush, so it came back as, I'll call it "good", not outstanding, I know he was trying to clear a huge backlog.  it's good enough for a beat-it-up shooter (and looks good).  my observation:  his work at barrel shortening, thread, pin, weld is very good, he TIG's the perm-attach muzzle device, like I guess everybody else does also.  YMMV.

I've read somewheres that if you're local to him, he'll do your job while you wait.  otherwise, for mail-in work, you need to be in the mode of sending it in and forgetting about it for a while, work on another project in the meantime.  I'm not sure if it's just him, or him and an assistant doing all the work, but definitely a long backlog.  payment by personal check.

Like I said, your mileage may vary.  my sincerest apologies for being so far off-topic.

Yessir. To say pinned isn't superior would make me an absolute retard BUT-

Years back I was always worried about it as well as I had always done taper pinned FSB. But I've never had or even heard of a Mk12 gas block coming loose and those fuckers are hard as he'll to get on the barrel as is. I swear that block is like .740" or something lol. But yeah the pair that's used by SOCOM is a non issue. One of my block 2 variations I ran a shaved down FSB which is about as robust as it gets
