Getting a little bit close to being finished. BCM upper w/DD RIS Spikes NiB BCG (I know not kosher, but it I like them a lot) BCM Gun Fighter CH Magpul VFG Surefire G2 ( the next thing I'm saving up cash, to replace). Magpul rear BUIS (to be replaced down the line along with the addition of a front BUIS) TA31 ACOG YHM Lower Ergo Grip VLTOR IMOD stock. Fleet Farm brand chemlights. The last time I shot this gun it, had an Aimpoint T-1 on it and it shot great. Can't wait to see what it can do with an ACOG at distance. I'm a bit worried about close in shots but that's what my MK18 is for. Good start! Glad to see I'm not the only one running the tan IMOD stock. I just don't like the LMT/B5 SOPMOD stocks. I don't like the straight up and down flat angle of the butt-pad. Feels more comfortable having that slight angle you get on the IMOD, CTR or even a stock M4 LE stock. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj3/roadblockxl/Block%20II%20M4-A1/IMG_20120724_201939.jpg You're going to force me to try one of those hand stops. |

LMT is a company with lousy QC. Buy from a company that cares about its products, like Bravo Company or LaRue.

Going to my dealer on Monday - he has two suppressors in stock - surefire fa556 dark earth and a aac m42000 - any recommendations?

Both are good cans, but I prefer the 556k/212. Less to no POI shift(depending on your barrel), better mounting system, and to me sounds better.

Was cleaning my block II today and noticed rust on my CQD. Should've known, maybe I'll get QD swivels later down the road.

I think it depends on unit, I've seen quite a few that didn't have them. |

CQD products have always been more popular on Navy guns, if I'm not mistaken.

Awesome photo. Also, more proof that you don't need to buy $400 in BUIS to be a Block II clone - this dude clearly has none (definitely not the first we've seen).

That a Mk18 or an M4A1? Either way it looks sweet.

Looking for a good trigger for my block II, something a little more crisp and lighter than the mil-spec triggers. Anybody have a suggestions? I'd like it to be fairly durable.

Giessele is dominating the trigger market these days. Several options to choose from, both single and two stage. One of the reasons they seem to be holding their position at the top is because of their durability. |
