I haven't seen anything documented regarding in the wild pics but surely a possibility. Primarily Colt M4 Carbine & Diemaco C8 /UK or Canadian forces is my understanding. I have seen a few with the M73 railed handguards tho, individual purchase IIRC. Edit: There were a few approved subcontractors for the RAS (M4 &M5), P&S Products (later as Prudent American Technologies) , CAPCO, and B&T Machine (no association with the B&T linked here earlier though). |

From what I remember psa originally shipped the upper with a p&s rail which would be clone correct. I guess they couldn’t source them anymore and it looks to me like they switched to the delton rails which won’t be clone correct at all. You can find a kac rail on knight’s website every so often. Seems like they release them in batches. |

Lots of M4 RAS's around right now. Check out Thoroughbred Armament and Wet Worx Outfitters. Wet Worx Thoroughbred is making uppers with them and Wet Worx has handguards currently either new or surplus. If you want to clone these are two solid web sites to check out especially Thoroughbred. |

Yep, I'm certain it was vastly better than nothing for fighting at night, and worked fine at short range. |

Surefire 2002 catalog shows the old round body with the flat milled where the logo is but I wasn't sure what year the fat body came out |

I think this is the correct mount to turn my 961 into a 962 although it doesn't have an NSN number like in the last picture. Can anyone confirm if this is the correct mount for the 1st gen Surefire round fat bodies with the flat milled for the logo? |
