Will I be the first to start an epic thread around SPR builds? I don't see one in the photos thread, I'd like to have one consolidated. I've seen some pics in the midlengths thread, and others scattered around. The Recce thread comes close, but not quite.
I know we have the Mk12 thread, but that's too pricey for me to look at. I'll start with my latest addition. Just put together the upper/lower and I'm waiting on a few things to come. Optic being one of them, maybe a bipod in the future. 18" Sabre Defense Fluted SPR barrel DD Lite Rail 12.0 Spikes Stubby VFG Magpul MBUS LMT BCG and CH Ranier Arms upper Vortex FH LMT Defender Lower Magpul CTR Stock Magpul MIAD grip Waiting on a Trijicon 3-9 Accupoint and Larue SPR mount.

Just got rid of a WOA barreled SPR for this. Hope to break it in this weekend and improve on my groups by a little.

Work in progress...
RRA lower and LPK LMT 2 stage trigger PRS stock and MOE grip Keyhole upper Sabre 18" middy stainless fluted barrel 1/8 twist- Vortex flash hider has been ordered, the A2 wouldn't line up and it annoyed me so I used an A1 for now) Troy FDE rifle length rails with magpul ladders Grip Pod Vari-X III 3.5x10 scope in an American Defense QD mount- Changing the scope to a Mark AR 3x9/40 Looking for some FDE Magpul back up sights that aren't the airsoft kind. Trying to save weight, this thing is pretty heavy. 
This is my first spr type AR and I like it a lot so far. It's a pain in the balls to find and decent match grade ammo to try out, but so far it seems to favor the Black Hills 69grn HP stuff. |

I see you have your scope bridging the receiver and the rail. How long have you had it like that and have you put the rifle through its paces, ie carbine class or 3 gun competition? Anyway, I'd be interested to know how much stress it is putting on your Leupold. |

I know its a big no no but I've shot thousands of rounds on prairie dogs, marmots, coyotes and rabbits and Ive had no POI shift. It gets abused bad its the one that stays in the truck all the time so far no problems. |

Spr(ish). CMT upper, Ameetec lower, Larue 12.0, Jewell trigger, 1" spacer on the A2 stock, WOA barrel, GG&G GS-1 rail with a Burris 8x32 on Burris mounts. Work in progress.
