View Quote 25 rounders FTW! |

can ya'll pin mags to 10 rounds? I would buy so many damn 20 rounders.

I was not expecting this, to say the least. Well done, Brownells!

Maybe it's just the part of me that's still riding the BRN-10 hype high, but this almost makes me wonder if a prototype style of BRN-series rifle might be in the works in the future.

If they feed as well as the 20's that I have I'll pass...I can't get the two mags I have to work for the life of me.

Love the stuff you guys are releasing but would really love to just see the retro stuff in stock to buy.
Hint.....20” 1:12 A1 barrels, tear drop FAs, correct A1 dust covers, 20 rounds mags, %80 A1 receivers etc etc |

That awkward feeling when you just bought 20rd mag bodies to cut and tig weld into 25rders....
New project, Colt Vietnam era 50rd Now if only someone would make some Prototype uppers! |

@Brownells can you post a pic with a 25 rounder in between a 20 and a 30?

Nice, I’m in! I’m hoping they will work with the NDS prototype lowers that some of us have. Pre order yet?

@mike_nds about how many NDS-15 lowers did you produce? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
Quoted: The NDS-15 lower does not have the broach cut on the left hand side of the magwell for the bump out. You would have to flatten or remove it. I have not yet begun processing them as we have to make some more bolt hold latches too. |
|
@Brownells
Please think about removing the bump for the mag catch. If you do it will work in all lowers if you don’t all the proto lowers out there (for this mag is for) won’t work. I won’t pretend I know lots about stamping mags, but maybe bother can be done with an extra step in the stamping? |

Do you have an example pic of this? Would think it would end up fugly.
Think it would be easier to add the bump then to take it away. |

View Quote This is commonly done to make AR-180 mags, along with cutting the catch and lowering the BHO notch. Additionally, nobody actually wants to remove the bump, because nobody actually owns a prototype Armalite receiver. Why is this being discussed? |
