Thanks for everything you're doing. Both in terms of revitalizing this stuff, and putting up with the current nature of the world and commerce.

Ordered one from each batch and got one serial off from consecutive numbers.

ETA - I sure as heck can't find the blem.  The glory days of NDS lives on.

I wonder if the next batch of lowers will be released with the uppers?  I would love to get the set together.  It would be great to buy the pair as one sku but even if they were released at the same time that would be great.  I know so many people who are chomping at the bit for any carry handle upper.  I'll have to just keep refreshing this thread so I don't miss out again.

Might as could be sets (upper and lower together) might be planned, once production ramps up some. (Neither PSA nor H&R employed, just speculation. I mean, after the five or six folks who want a set buy them, the demand might dry up... )

He could always mismatch the sets and force you to buy the whole collection in order to get the upper & lower you actually want.

ETA: @mike_nds

My gun counter guy started to give me grief this morning picking up my lower. ....why ya' transferring in an AR lower when we got 30 in the cabinet?  I told him to take it out and look at it. He was instantly amazed. ....A1  lower, correct anodizing... oh' wow it even has the correct H&R markings.... wait, even the non removed casting flash is right...this is amazing!  He wanted to know how long they'd been around and I told him that lower is amongst the first batch of 100 to be released. He wants one now. He also told me to tell you to put the H&R stickers online because he collects H&R M1 Garands and was quite covetous of my sticker.

"Blind boxing" is a Thing in the collectibles industry - buy a miniature or a figure or something, what's inside is a mystery - could be something you want, could be something you already have six of, could be an entirely unique one-off that was made *just* for chasing down.

Buuut, we're not collecting Funko Pops here, are me? (Not in this forum, or at least not admitting to it, anyway... )

Pro tip.

Birchwood Casey Blue and Rust remover can be used to remove the blackener on LPKs. It won't remove the parkerizing, but will totally remove the black and leave a nice gray finish.

Worked for me. YMMV

Mike, just to make absolutely sure, these WILL be the old Nodak Spud 603 product and NOT the new H&R uppers, correct?

if going live at 4:30, sold out by 5:00 for sure.  just a question of whether sold out by 4:40, or 4:45.
