Hello, I can't find much info about these.

Certainly not anything close to military-like. |

At various times in the past, a lot of surplus companies have tried to pass these off as "Official" military items, Walmart carries them as does a host of other cheap shops, they even had them at the Dollar Tree stores around here last summer.
They have nothing to do with any military I have ever seen and I was in the Military a long time. |

I'm pretty sure that's a Jones hat. 3 sides are supposed to be folded up, I can even see the crease. It's kind of a traditional water fowl hunting hat.
