gearsmithy Member Joined Feb 2015 Posts 1910 EE 100% (11) CA, USA	Posted: 3/31/2024 5:07:17 PM EDT I've got three of the surefire X300Us (the 600 lumen models) and I've been considering upgrading to either the 1000 lumen or the Turbo. Anyone else do this? Was it worth the upgrade?

I did a few run n gun events, they had a cave section. 400 lumens vanished.... so next time I went up to 600 and a 1000 lumen handheld. That mostly got me to 20 yards. Kind of extreme example, but I don't leave that light on when it's in the bed safe.

	From the days when all the gun rags touted the RRA DEA rifle as the greatest ever. Those were the days when Magpul made magpuls, Bushmaster was Tier 1, Eotechs and vertical grips were awesome!

Thanks @Caeser2001 pretty sure I’ve got the higher candela one due to the noticeable brighter hot spot.
