Just got my parts back from the local gunsmith, Snapped some photos before I started building!

Ended up going with an slr rail and very happy with it so far.

Back to an 11.5" barrel and different rail. I wasn't happy with the 10.3". Oh well, live & learn. The 9" rail is for sale on the EE but I've only had a couple offers. Patriot a brown must be losing its popularity

I'm in search of a Cerakote applicator in southern MI that can do Patriot Brown. Just looking to get the receivers, rail, and some small parts coated. I want the heat-cure and don't have the setup for a DIY job.

Two places are in my area according to the official Cerakote website: Custom Concepts wants nothing to do with my small job. Waiting on email response from Pierce Engineering. American Arms Engineering advertises on MGO but doesn't stock Patriot Brown so they want $250.

I'm aware of Cerakoters outside MI but I'd like to get a chance to inspect before making final payment.

If anyone knows of a Cerakoter in southern MI feel free to let me know.

Pretty happy with how it's turned out and I've got less than 200 bucks into it. Got my old trusty police model for HD and took this in on a very favorable trade on my end so figured I'd get a couple projects out of the trade. Have a Mesa tactical saddlerail en route and couple other odds and ends but it's pretty much done. Can't decide if I want to cerakote the saddle in FDE or not but love the Patriot brown and FDE scheme on it.
