I looked on Cerakotes website, and it looks like the chocolate brown color is the most representative of Patriot Brown. Its the camera. I will try to get a better representation of the color later. Mine is more of a brown with OD green mixed. It is by far the best looking color in my opinion. This rifle was painted FDE before this and I am very happy with the outcome. |

First off, gorgeous rifle!!
Secondly, can you tell me what trigger guard that is? Third... it looks like some finishes are almost a semi gloss and others (like WTFShane's) are much more matte. Looks like your PredatAR has more of a matte finish and your KAC has a more semi-gloss finish. Which do you prefer more? I really like the look of the matte more, but pictures online are always deceiving. |

| I'm thinking my next build will be patriot brown with FDE furniture. I think it looks great and works out well. Sometimes based on pictures I see in this thread, the patriot brown looks darker than others. I'm assuming its lighting, but is there a standard I should get? |

O.k., I'm a video-game AR nerd, so I apologize from the start.
What I want to find, is a more reddish-brown color, as seen below in the picture from Medal of Honor. Anyone have any ideas on a color name? I'm looking at building an Block II M4, and rattle caning it the same color. I love the worn and used look, although I'll let it happen naturally instead of throwing it down the drive-way.
