[Last Edit: 762AP]
So, I don't have the slightest idea how to install this. It looks tiered inside, like it's 2 pieces, but appears to be a one-piece unit. There is no way I could wrench this on a receiver if it doesn't come apart. What is I missing....
EDIT:
Appears it's more work, and tools, than it's really worth.
Thanks.

Or you can use an old leather belt to "line" the jaws of a pipe wrench.

I think this was recommended on here, but it's the best strap wrench I have found, and what I used to install my last hogue. A lapping tool is also your friend.

Amazon Product
  • Completely adjustable strap wrench with 1-1/2 to 5-Inch (3.8 to 12.7 cm) capacity

Thanks for the info.
Honestly, I got it with some other parts, wasn't really costing me a thing since I wanted the other parts and this was with it, I'll probably just sell it cheap and go with the YHM unit I have that can be installed with a standard barrel tool.
