Mounts an RMR up nice and snug to the Razor, turrets do not hinder sight picture (clips into the bottom left corner just a tiny bit). This is now my do-it-all, go-to, SHTF, boogiewoogie, whatever you want to call it rifle. Reliable, accurate, usable at any range within .556 effectiveness, and I kept it to 9lbs 1oz with light (Arisaka 300 not shown, removed for the range trip) without lightweight parts which is pretty good for a recce-style setup to me. https://i.imgur.com/y2uPZIk.jpg |

I'd have to get at least 2000 rounds through it to formally replace my LMT CQB MRP. Has anyone had any experience with a MAMS? This E3 Mod 2 is a very flat shooter with an FH out front, I cant imagine how it would handle with a finely tuned MB. It is unbelievable how much I like this KAC, I haven't even set it up for ME, yet. Just threw the darn thing on an older lower, swapped the buffers and she runs hot! Very fast transition shooting. Been setting up 5 silhouettes, 3 at 50- 5 yards apart, then 1 at 75 and 1 at 125. The 75 and 125 are in direct line with target #2 of the first three 50's. I shoot doubles far left, then far right, then run doubles straight up the center 50, 75, 125. Shot a 9.36 today with this KAC, lower has an SSA-E in it. My best with my LMT is an 8.87 and I shot 15,000 rounds with that this year. Granted it is much heavier with the DBAL and M600DF out front and I'm running a BCM Comp(which is not any kind of benchmark MB) but does do a little to dampen felt recoil, and mostly muzzle rise, over this KAC FH. Let me know what I need for an not super noisy MB on a 14.5 KAC. This is my first KAC anything beside takedown pins and BUIS, LOL. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/484978/20191222_233829-1205824.jpg |

Bore Tech, I use Rod Guides. I also, do ont shoot steel cased bi metal jacketed bullets through it, so eah, I think she's good for another 25 really. About the steel ammo, I know it almost makes sense to shoot steel and replace barrels every 5000 rounds due to the cost of ammo, I became a member of an ammo club. It cost $90 a year, but I shoot 30,000+ a year and I get high quality ammo delivered to my door for $0.27 a round. If I order in the am, it is usually here the next day. If I order Friday afternoon, its here tuesday latest. TARGET SPORTS USA, Prime Ammo Club. Highly recommend joining to any high volume shooter. Yeah barrel is great still and yeah .27 a round no delivery fees, about 17 for 9mm American Eagle, Federal Lake City... the good stuff. |

Simple 16" carbine. Didn't cut any corners and went with good, proven parts. Thinking of switching my MRO out with an Aimpoint Comp M5 though.

Got a 12.5" middy to run cheap tula and wolf like a crack whore - with an A2 FSP gas block that I mounted using set screws...took it through a carbine course with one malfunction (no lube). Sprayed CLP in that bad boy and ran it the rest of the course. Keep an eye on Schuyler arms co. They have sales on blem Aero kits once in a while. I picked up a receiver set with 15" mlok rail for $200 a while ago. |

If you're at all like me you may be collecting a lot of different AR's due to the current political climate, or maybe simply because you think the AR is one of the best firearm designs ever conceived. Personally, I could never own too many AR's and hope to continue to add to the collection, but I do have a favorite Go To Rifle. Mine is an LMT MRP. At 14.5'', it is short enough to wield in confined spaces and also capable of making accurate shots out to 500yrds. It is Night Vision ready, carries a good flashlight and is equipped with an illuminated 1-4 LPVO. At 9.5 lbs with spare batteries, spare bolt parts and a bipod, I am comfortable carrying it with a sling for extended periods of time. Most importantly, I have encountered very few failures and it is accurate. I try to end most range days and training sessions with a minimum of one Mag fired from this rifle to maintain my familiarity and confidence with it. I also have a spare 10.5'' barrel which I plan to run Suppressed. I think the MRP platform is extremely durable and relatively accurate, especially when used in conjunction with an LMT Enhanced BCG. There is a level of sacrifice in regards to weight, but in my opinion, the pros far out weigh the cons. I may change to an M-LOK Upper in the near future to shave a few OZ's. https://i1126.photobucket.com/albums/l608/M-4matus/IMG_20191111_183659_zpsqcqcijab.jpg" target="_blank">https://i1126.photobucket.com/albums/l608/M-4matus/IMG_20191111_183659_zpsqcqcijab.jpg I should mention, I built this rifle from parts. https://i1126.photobucket.com/albums/l608/M-4matus/IMG_20191024_130953_zpsorwi02zq.jpg" target="_blank">https://i1126.photobucket.com/albums/l608/M-4matus/IMG_20191024_130953_zpsorwi02zq.jpg *EDIT- I've made some recent purchases that may Change my GoTo; a 14.5" URG-I Complete and a 14.5" KAC E3 Mod 2 URX4 w/ P/W SF Warcomp, Both are nice, but the LMT MRP is still a much better shooter than the Geissele URG-I. The KAC may be a different story. I just bought a Upper and still need to buy a KAC SR15 Ambi Lower but I love it so far. I'm still faster with my LMT, but I feel once I shoot the KAC a few thousand rounds more, I will perform better with the KAC than my LMT. I have the Comp M5 on it and have been doing well shooting 40 to 250 meter Drills. I HAVE QUESTIONS- 1)I am currently running the SF Warcomp on the KAC, SHOULD I REPLACE MY Warcomp W/ A KAC MAMS, are they really that good? 2)The Gen 2 Vortex Razor 1-6 has really nice glass (I usually stay away from Vortex) and I love the Scope, SHOULD I SWITCH THE CompM5 out for the RAZOR? (ONE SHOULD NOTE* I PLAN TO RUN A THERMAL CLIP-ON ON THE KAC. Trijicon Thermal, Model- Undecided w/ WILCOX MOUNT in front of one of the Two Optics pictured below)

| It is mostly a question weather I switch the Warcomp out for a MAMS. Anyone have experience with booth MD's. I like the personal tunability of the Warcomp and feel it has made shooting easier, but I want a MAMS and believe I could also perform the same directional tuning as I have with my Warcomp. My issue is, for $350. I would want a MAMS to be really FN good. |

Now that I am used to it mounted on my E3 Mod 2 I can't pick up any of my other guns. This rig is just the best thing ever. I will look into the AFAB. |

I was having major issues with Photobucket last week. Learned to upload images directly on ARF from my Camera Phone, then it is extremely esay to post images from your profile after you start a post. If you need help with the rundown IM me. |
