I am currently building a Aero Precision M5 308.
I will mostly be using iron sights but would like the option to add a scope down the road.
I understand. I will need a back up iron sight.
The question. Is it possible to mount a front sight like the one of my Colt M4 and RRA Tactical Entry.

Given your questions, it sounds like it would be FAR easier to do rail mounted BUIS.

But you can use a traditional FSB.
