Has anyone use a Lage folding stock? I have one on a BRN180 and it’s not bad.

Also I was wrong about the Sig Hinge. It doesnt lock folded, it was just really stiff. |

Otherwise you almost have to push down really hard to overcome spring tension with other stock hinges. For younger/healthier guys it isn't too bad. But I can see if being an issue for others. Attached File It will work with the Lage Adapter/Stock. I wouldnt be surprised if Lage uses Ace/Doublestar as the OEM for hinges |

I didn't see any AGP picatinny stocks last I looked. https://agparms.com/agp-arms-lightweight-folding-stock-for-1913-rail/ |

View Quote https://hagadefense.com/b-t-mbt-stock-for-1913-rails/ I got one in a while back for my 300BLK JAKL SBR and I played with it a bit. It is lighter than the ACR, folds about the same, and has similar adjustments other than LOP, which works quite different from the ACR. The polymer doesn't seem as dense and I wonder how well the hinge point will wear if it is used a lot. I will post some pictures when my lower gets back from engraving. |

Anyone tried or seen on the jakl a folding mechanism that uses a standard AR buffer tube? I am wondering if that would work well; plus, probably the only way I can get an OD green stock to match my jakl’s finish, like a CTR.
Also looking at that Zhukov adapter, but wondering if that would make a too long length of pull? |

F5 MFG will cerakote their folding JAKL stock. I asked them to cerakote mine Magpul OD Green. I'll post pictures once I have it in the F5 stock thread.

Any one utlized an MDT folding hinge to adapt a fixed position stock or carbine stock? If so, lets see how you did it.

View Quote I had an MDT on a different setup and decided to try it on the jakl. No go as the little support wings interfered with the hinge closing. Do not recommend. |

If I was a little handier with making custom parts, I'd love to take an MP5K choate folder and modify it to 1913 picatinny..

Anything new out there to consider? How have the F5 stocks been holding up?
