I want to make sure I have this right.

I have and prefer the HLX over surefire (lets not argue).
I want another Dbal D2 for another build.
I Want a dual switch. one button for laser, one for white light.
TAPS is perfect. However out of stock for the Crane/streamlight combo.
Ariska defense makes a tailcap adapter so the HLX and use Surefire remote tailcaps and switches.

I can find a TAPS for the Crane/surefire in stock. I can find the Ariska adapter in stock.  I feel like I'm missing something. Maybe the surefire tailcap to go on the ariska adapter that accepts the plug for the TAPS?

I could still use two switches, the original for HLX and throw a hotbutton at 9 o'clock (possibly cheapest route and the hot button mlok would work with my limited space). Cheaper is preferred at the moment.

Am I on the right path. It's either that or have to separate tape switches that take a lot of space on my sbr.

Here is one setup with a wmlx that I could make the other set up mimic with the hot button. At least, I think it should work.

Have you thought about using 2 Modlite Modbuttons? I have the SF ones on a couple blasters and I've been thinking about picking up the laser version and ditching the SF dual switch.

Yes, that adapter appears to require an SF tailcap, so you’d need that as well.

The hot button setup should work too if you’re not worried about simultaneously activating the HLX and D2.

I want to activate them Separately so it shouldn’t be an issue.  One button for white light. One button for whichever setting is on my D2.
