Straight mags don't feed as well as curved in undergassed rifles.

I suspect they probably sell more of the Gen 2 (aka MOE) mags on the civilian market than any other magazine.

Agreed.  To the average consumer why pay more for Gen 3 ... both are black ... both are MagPul ... save money and buy Busch Light.  People also probably buy them in quantity for storage purposes.

I personally hate Gen2 PMAGs.  I have a box filed with NIW .. waiting for the next ban.  I won't sell them at inflated prices because I'm already screwing the buyer by selling them a Gen2 PMAG.
