There's always a .5 micron spacing between my shoulder and the brace when firing, just getting that out there on a public forum.

Cool. Seems like such a stupid question, but considering all the nuance laws and blah blah. Crazy to think on my own property I have to wonder this, but the internet is forever. On the other side of that, why even consider hiding it? It's a God-given right and I was worried a video (possibly) depicting a technicality could lead to an issue.

I've probably accidentally shouldered my AR pistol at least once or twice. I mean, I'm sure I probably did.

I refuse to identify my shoulder braces as anything but "non-binary gun accessory thingies." Additionally, I command an Army of Karens on Facebook to smite bigots who do. Fear Me!

Sometimes it accidentally makes really firm solid contact with my shoulder while I demonstrate proper gun control, but absolutely not Mr. ATF man, I did not shoulder that pistol brace.

They're not intended to replace a shoulder stock so I wouldn't give gun haters something to pick out and use.

Can neither confirm nor deny.
I have no recollection of the events in question. |

Technically speaking, unless you're shooting shirtless, it's not touching your shoulder.
|

Yes and yes I replaced the strap on my braces too. Why? Because 2A.

Went out shooting the other day and brought my CZ Evo with folding brace. BIL went to shoot it and I told him to make sure he doesn't shoulder it (he's a city cop) He just laughed, I laughed, his 2 Sheriff buddies laughed, the ATF laughed......was a good time.

you know its ok to shoulder, right? you have to use that joke if they change their stance again so its not funny yet.
|

Nope.. never intentionally shouldered my brace.
Never, ever, ever ....have I intentionally picked my nose. Some things are just better left unsaid. |
|
Don't worry, if anyone asks me about it, I'll just go the Sgt. Schultz route.
Moronic Schultz knows nothing, sees nothing! |

Shouldering is for a buttstock.
I have a brace and I'm simply letting it massage by shoulder. Shit I massage myself all the time |

I shoot mine off of my crotch. More thrusts per squeeze and all.

I don't shoot mine from the shoulder, I place it against the pectoralis major, which is technically part of the chest, not the shoulder. It may slip to the shoulder under recoil, but my intent is always to brace it against a chest muscle. That's my story.

Dude, you’re caring too much. Quit worrying about it.
I don’t see anything in the 2nd Amendment that says you can’t shoulder a stabilizing brace |

That way instead of accidentally shouldering the brace... I just get a "stickle" and a "tickle" from a furry "snooch"... |

Like that Meghan Trainor song says, I'm all about that brace.

Quoted: I finally got to zero my BCM Recce 11.5 today and for once in my life remembered to get a little video. I thought about posting it, but for the life of me, I can't remember if I shouldered it or not. Is that really a thing? ETA: to better clarify my ignorance; is it expected that with an SBA 3 brace it cannot touch your shoulder? At least got a pic https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/199968/Recce_11-1423771.jpg View Quote That looks like an awesome setup. 10/10 would shoulder. |
