I have an MT6601 which is similar to what you are talking about.

What is your question?

2007 catalog page for your reference. MT6700 is a plain muzzle...MT6700C has a compensator.

I have a 6601 (1/7 twist A2 upper) and a good friend of mine used to have the 6700 (1/9 flat top). Both have HBAR profile.

Barrels  usually have chrome chamber only but sometimes colt used full CL barrels.

Generally speaking Colt barrels are very accurate and the 1/9 does its job perfectly with most commercial loads.

They're just standard ban era rifles,I have a MT6700C, 1999 vintage,  that I've "un banned" (threaded the barrel, replaced the FSB for a bayo lug).
It's a good rifle, pretty accurate.
They do have plastic buffers, the "C" shaped bolt carrier, single sided screw pivot pin, and the larger non mil spec .170" FCG pins.
As stated they are 1/9 twist and H-Bar (Heavy Barrel) configuration.
Any specific questions?

Those were built in batches as far as I know.
2004 was the last batch that used semi BCG and plastic buffer.
From 2008 they went back to FA BCG and metal buffer.
At least my 2008 match target did.

I have one that is probably from the mid 90's.  ADCO threaded the barel for me right after the AWB ended.  I like the gun and it is accurate, fun to shoot, and heavy due to the HBAR.

I bought one during the ban and thought it was a good enough rifle. No reliability issues and accuracy was good at 100 yards (the range I shot at) Back then Colt was top in quality along with Bushmaster and Armalite.
After the ban ended I sold the barrel and stock and eventually made it into an M4 type clone.
If I were in a ban state i guess I would be happy With the MT6700 again.
