I hope this works out for the seller.  I emailed him my concerns about a pistol made from a rifle.  Otherwise it looks like some nice parts.  I don't believe any Colt AR-15A2 lowers came from the factory unassembled.

I didn't know sliding the stock off made it a pistol.

Colt sold a very small amount of new bare ar15a2 receivers thru Arms Unlimited..That is not one of them....They were not marked with the export /law Enforcement markings on the rh side

He didn't even put a pistol tube on it -

People that are not familiar with the nuances can get into trouble - the line of compliant versus non-compliant is fuzzy enough that people can make such mistakes.  Only thing is that is that the feds would have no problem immediately slamming you with a felony for the error or lack of understanding.

Sometimes there are no words. Love the pic of the “pistol” with the stock laying next to it

Based on the images he has in the auction, that is an SBR and not a pistol.

You can use regular rifle tubes on pistol builds and a few months ago Brownell's and a couple of others were selling Colt lowers but not that one!

if the lower had been "demilled" and then rebuilt it would be considered a virgin receiver..?...

it should be a crime...

And....…..how many of you bitching about it are bidding on it or trying to contact seller to work out a "deal"?

Not me, I have no desire to own one like that.
