Anyone put a Cloud Defensive OWL on an FSP rail, or particularly a Daniel Defense RIS II FSP? Does the front sight come close to burning your hand?
I'm trying to make a decision on that setup, a picture would be great.
Thanks!

Sorry, don't have any FSP guns, but I think you should be fine. If you put the light so that the pressure pad is under your thumb in your normal grip, it won't make any difference than normal.

My OWL is on EE if you decide to go that route.

My concern is the palm of my hand touching the FSB while my thumb rests on the switch.

I get that. I'm saying if that's where your hand is without the light, then you'll be fine with the light. I would put the light where you grip the rifle. I wouldn't change your grip to accommodate the light.
