I may build it back up after I finish my Mk13. Debating on replacing the KAC RIS with FF RAS carbine and getting an ACOG to direct mount. I got more than enough on my plate right now, though. Can’t recall, but I have it saved on my phone. Bare tubes are sick, but unfortunately are basically single use items. If you ever tear it down it's difficult to get it timed the exact same way twice. Only go down that road if you're absolutely sure you don't intend to remove barrel nut/tube mount, or do so before you start chopping up the tube. |

A detachable handle adds more weight and significantly defeats the purpose if one is seeking a lightweight and very handy carbine. If I want a flattop, well I've already got those too. A handy lightweight rifle is a tool for a certain job that doesn't weigh as much as my SBR for HD or even close to my SHTF rifle when on the road. My C7 topped rifle was assembled to be something I could easily sling and not be bothered while on my property. |

It's a laser cut number, 13629. I'm not up on what it means, maybe a Colt part number. The short length makes it really easy to handle in close quarters. Don't know yet as I haven't shot any 223, but I'll find out soon. I'll need to make sure nobody else is in the booth. I put a CMMG 22 kit in it...  ...and use it to shoot squirrels out of the almond trees from our upstairs bedroom window.
