I just recently turned 21 and I was interested in buying a 300blk ar pistol but I have no clue what to look for, I have a fairly tight budget (around 500-700 dollars) so I'm looking for something that's cheap but somewhat reliable

Toss the budget, build something nice.

With todays prices a budget will be crap anyways, and good look with ammo.

Something from PSA maybe, but ammo is scarce and expensive.

I just sent you a pm with some options.  Good luck!

Also with "possible" pending regulation coming down the pipe may not be the time to jump into the AR pistol game.

It won't stop there if they get their way, or if we bend over.

Go to gunbroker and type in AR15 300 pistol.

Personally I'd stick with 5.56 or even go 7.62x39

I have 2 10.5 inch uppers from sota arms. Fairly inexpensive but seems they quit making the short uppers. Still make 16 inch. Around $400. Mine have been flawless. Take a look and see for yourself.

Agreed.
I love 300 blackout but it's now over $1.00 per round.

Don’t build the 300 blk now. The ammo is hard to get and it’s expensive. If you don’t have a 5.56 build that first. If you want to build something different build a 7.62x39 ammo is cheap and you can still buy it. I just finished up my 7.62 build and I love it. Just make sure you get duramags for magazines.
