Lawyer here. Did a search for his name on Pacer. No arrests and no case as of a few days ago . It's possible there is a forfeiture case, they have weird names like United States vs. 3 CNC Machines and Drill Bits or whatever. Not sure how to search or if "search by name" an option, but so far he's not in the clink, so that is good. It is also possible there's a sealed indictment or he's cooperating. Don't know the man and don't mean to cast any aspersions, just saying they put people in terrible positions, do 20 years or cooperate that sort of thing. If it's a counterfeiting/trademark forfeiture thing, hopefully it's the end of it for him. Frequently, they settle simply for confiscation or destruction or sale. Sad these companies wouldn't sell licenses to make it a "win win" for cloners. |

| If anyone is interested, I equipped a trifecta of his special proto-style FSBs, tri-prong flash hiders, and bipod collars onto a pretty darn faithful BRN-PROTO replica of Armalite #000001, up for grabs still on everyone's favorite site, GB...just in case braceman is perhaps forever nevermore in terms of producing these custom one-offs... |

Here's the poop. The ATF agent has concerns regarding the fake sear pin engraving. Wants to check and make sure that that engraving doesn't classify those receivers as MGs, and I don't mean the car. Victor's only holding aside about 4 receivers that have these "sear pin " engravings. Sounds like all others are fine. Uppers arent even on the radar I guess. |
I think the hardest thing for good LE working for good agencies to really absorb is that there are whole departments full of exactly the complete fuckheads we rail against here. - vectorsc

So you’re donating the funds to Braceman right? That or you’re trying to profit off of his misfortune because “brceman is perhaps nevermore….” I hope I’m just reading your post wrong otherwise seams like a real slimy thing to be posting in this thread |

Not someone I would do business with. Seems like a real sleezy thing to do while a man is having his life ruined by the ATF and he see’s it as his chance to cash in. |

Are those his personal machine guns? Or are they not machine gun, machine guns, since he didn't work on anything that was a firearm? |

My money is on that guy being the CI, but I have no idea. I haven't talked to John since this happened, and none of our mutual friends have heard from him either. |

People! Please obey the law, regardless of whether you believe in it or not. Making an SBR at home requires zero mechanical skills, getting gang raped by the government or your new roommates doesn't require any skills either. People who disobey these laws make headlines, headlines that the enemies of freedom like to point to. I know nothing regarding the facts of this case, but if you own a CNC and are responsible for the programming, I suggest that you review your files to ensure that nothing potentially illegal is stored in your hard drives. |

This is good advice overall, however, the penalties for gangbangers who have glock switches usually aren't even close to 10 years or $250k. |

Base your decision on the validity of the speculations posted and go from there.

I had a saw cut 9mm SMG marked mag well I was going to get him to weld onto an 80% receiver stub. It’s a shame as he seemed to be a stand up dude and did great work. Besides the fact I don’t want to see the government screw anybody it’s truly a loss to our community as well. |

@special11 Say what? Perhaps I was unclear in my post and I will edit it to make more clear what I meant. But since you are seemingly “new” here I have been around this forum for a while and think I’m a known entity, for better or worse, so maybe give me the benefit of the doubt? |
