On my 7.62x39 build, I am having a problem with the bolt catch engaging after every round. Has anyone had this problem?
Ejects spent rounds no problem.
Feeds rounds fine after you hit the bolt catch.

Silly question, did you put bolt catch spring in during build

And do you have a BAD lever? Cuz that can cause it, too.

Plunger on bolt catch spring is stuck.  It happened to me recently.  There was too much anodize or maybe a burr in the hole and I had to clean it up a bit.

I had the same thing happen. I was unable to get the detent out, used a 5/32 bit hand held to push it in enough to clean the burr off. Once done, cleaned everything and all good to go.

I have made it a habit to chase every detent hole on lowers before assembly. Too many times there is a burr or too much finish causing things to be too tight for smooth function especially on detents.

Not a bad idea as a safeguard.

just spit-balling, there might be debris in that hole, extending the reach of the spring
