I saw Primary had them for $49. I could not resist at that price and ordered 3. Hopefully I don't regret it.....

I have a 16'' mid length that short strokes with several other carriers but the BCA carrier runs flawlessly in it. I intended to use a different carrier in that particular rifle but the BCA was the only carrier that works in it and it has never once failed after a few hundred rounds.

I'm tempted to try one in a budget pistol build I'm putting together...reviews are either 'I love it' or 'it was junk'...

Very appealing price. My last two BCG's have been Toolcraft for about $20 more.

I almost jumped on one of those until I read the fine print.

The carrier is nitrided but the bolt is phosphate.

Also the reviews were all over the place so I dug deeper into the wallet and got another Toolcraft (from JoeBob).

+1  Toolcraft has always treated me well, and will continue to be my go to BCG's.

Primary Arms is a stand up company, but inconsistent reviews regarding Bear Creek make me too nervous to put a $49 BCG inches from my face.

I bought the lightweight bolt carrier assembly. Got a little over 1,000 rounds on it no problems.

agreed, unless you're really just experimenting cuz you're curious, it's better to get a $69.99 Toolcraft BCG and call it a day. It's not like the price difference is like $170 for a BCM bolt vs $80 for a TC (normally), it's $20.... just get the TC and you'll get a good reliable known quality BCG that is highly recommended

Arm or Ally has the 9310 nitride ones for $64.99 right now now or the C158 bolt variant for $74.99

Right To Bear (ARFCOM member SailorJ) often sells them at this price.

The only reason I would chance $49 BCA BCGs is speculation for the next scare.  They can't be doing a lot of QC at that price.

Tool craft.
The way i see it, Toolcraft supplies many manufacturers with their BCG's.

And besides, Toolcraft customer service is top notch.
