I have an A1 upper with the Split A forge mark. From what I have found, it was cast by Anchor Harvey. Who might have been the manufacturer that finished and sold the upper originally. I have had the upper for well over 10 years. Got it in a box of AR parts I traded for a long time ago. No idea on the age, other than it has to be at least older than 10 years.

Maybe Olympic Arms. I bought a generic slick side about 10 years ago and it had that forge code, as they do today. Anchor supplies forgings for a lot of generic suppliers and has for a lot of years.
