I'm afraid to buy one only to see that the wrench flats might be boogered up. Sadly the price is the same as what SAW was selling them for in brand new condition.

But if these are indeed the same rifle REs as what SAW was selling, those were the nicest rifle REs that I've ever seen.

No personal experience but I can tell you that they will not be pristine.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect them to be perfect... I sure wish I grabbed a few more of the ones at Specialized Armament back when they had them in stock. I should have figured they wouldn't last, but at least I got 3 of them.

The new ones at Brownells just aren't as nice and have swirly machining on the inside instead of the mirror perfect finish that Colt REs are known for.

Worth a gamble IMO. Also, Apex is great as far as returns/refunds.

Pricing is a bit high, but who isnt currently?
