Just grabbed an M2 from Thoroughbred Armament and mine came with an extended battery cap. I'm looking at it and it doesn't seem to have a through connector to run two 1/3N batteries but I could be wrong. Wet Worx's site says it extends the battery life so I'm assuming you can stack batteries. Is that what it is for? Found an old archived thread for reference here but still a bit confused on the placement/install. |

| Original one basically just held an extra battery. Someone makes a 123 battery conversion though. Putting two batteries in series would double your voltage. |

Late reply... Aimpoint is no longer manufacturing the Comp M2. You can find a surplus one through Thoroughbred Armament or Wet Worx. I personally don't have any experience with Wet Worx but I have multiple purchases through Thoroughbred and they are excellent. |
