When you go to install the two little blocks that hold the hand guard, should they be flush with the sides of the hand guard when you are done tightening? Thanks!

I have about 5 or 6 of the R1 rails. Some of them are a little below flush and some are a little above flush. I'm talking like 1/32" or so. If you put a little oil on the blocks and run them in and out a few times, they will work their way in a little more. I'm not sure if you are above or below flush??? And do not use any Torx driver other than the tool that came with it.

Mine are a little above flush. I’m just test fitting it until I get my barrel. Thanks for the tip on the oil.
