I have an early (serial number under 1000) Adams Arms with a 16” heavy barrel. The chamber absolutely looks chrome lined, but I’ve been told all of their carbine Evo piston guns were melonited.

Am I seeing things or did / does AA offer chrome lined?

I cant speak of your uppers but I can speak of your piston kits. With lots of help from Cody, I have a 7.62x39 AR that runs lights out on your parts!
The "EXPERTS" all said it could not be done. And yet there is a badass little carbine driven by an AA system.
I have AA pistons, SIG pistons, and LWRCI pistons. The simplest and most straightforward is the AA.
